Her smile faded, replaced by a kind of melancholy. “What’s wrong?” He was quick to pick up the change in her expression. “I don’t know… It’s beautiful, but it feels a little sad.” Well, he can understand that. “I usually think of my mother when I come here. Sometimes I wonder what it would’ve been like to grow up with a younger sister.” He related. “Have you been here with your father?” “A few times. He likes to come here, too.” “I miss my parents.” Laura admitted. “I’m sure you do.” Silence came between them as they watched the sunset. It sure is peaceful and the only people who remained alert in this outing are the guards.
