Chapter 7: Meeting of the Seven Governors

Belfe can’t take it anymore, wanting to go home and sleep as soon as possible, he decided to break that thin ice from the weird atmosphere that started when everyone entered the hall.

“So, what is this important meeting all about that cannot be written in a mail?” He asked still looking lazy and sleepy as he was in the beginning.

Belfe is the Governor of the Decidia City. Although he is the Governor, he didn't do much to help his city at all and let them do what they want. In short, he is slacking all day and still getting paid for his job. But on the contrary, although Belfe is lazy and always slacking, he is without a doubt the most intelligent person even among the seven governors. He was the brain of the M.O. during its reign. Analyzing and planning their moves that lead to the success of the organization's goal and only the head of that organization can order this lazy bum.

“It’s been twenty-five years, more than two decades had passed since we last have a meeting like this... it does bring back memories,” Asmodeus said while flirtingly staring and winking at Levia.

Asmodeus is the Governor of the Lubido City. He built nightclubs, love motels, and strip clubs all around his city in a guise to help his citizens relieved themselves, but it also meant to satisfy his lust and earning money, to buy all the women he wanted to have a taste. He also created hundreds of acre farm to plant, but not vegetables or anything related to food but herbs: such as m*******a, opium poppy, cannabis, and many more. He is known as the largest illegal drug supplier in the country.

Levia, the only woman in the hall ignored Asmodeus and continue looking at Belfe with so much hate. She hated that he was able to sit beside Satan every time there is a meeting and even outside of this hall, he will even let Belfe sleep on his back while piggyback carrying him, what's more, their city is only divided by a wall. While in Levia's case, they are separated by an entire city. Because of this, she sometimes wished she was Belfe.

Levia is the governor of Aerugo City, this city has everything: motels, nightclubs, restaurants, firearms, jewelry stores. Name it, because it sure has everything the other cities has, that is why among all the governors she is considered hardworking and dedicated to her job. Although her city is very prosperous and thriving, the truth is she just really did all that because she is jealous, whenever she visits other cities and sees that there’s something that she doesn’t have in her city, she builds or creates her own.

She, Satan, and Belfe are childhood friends, the three of them are neighbors before the walls and laws are created, and she had been secretly in love with Satan and despising Belfe since then.

Satan frowned and unconsciously looked at his right where Levia is sitting. Levia noticed his head twisting to her side so she quickly moves her gaze away from Belfe and Satan, she looked at Saifer instead.

Satan is the Governor of Iracundia City, he is a short-tempered governor and always in a bad mood. But above all this, he is considered the best governor among all seven of them, although he always picks a fight and mad all the time. But among all the cities, his city is second only to Fastus city from being hard to control and manage but he was able to do it for more than two decades.

Managing his people without wreaking havoc on other cities is such a great feat. And he did all that by creating a law that fighting or any sorts of violence outside an arena or a ring is not allowed, any fights inside of it, even death will be considered legal, but if fights are made outside of the ring, then it is punishable by law. No one knows what punishment it is but every citizen believes it is worse than death considering Satan’s personality. This law feeds their wrath, watching fights and fighting on their heart's content made them be confined inside the walls of Iracundia City.

Satan’s eyes instantly turn red as he saw Levia looking intently at Saifer, he suddenly had the urge to kill someone tonight.

For Satan, Levia is his light to this dark world. Since he was a child, his parents are arguing and shouting every single day that made him so annoyed and irritated. He always goes outside their house to not hear his parent's arguments anymore and then, that’s when he saw Levia, she is pouting while swinging all alone in the park. Mumbling how unfair her parents are that they only bought ice cream for her sister and didn’t even bought her any even if she is not at home at that time. Satan thought to himself that in the future, he will buy anything this girl wants so she’ll stop being sad.

Satan did his best to get close to her, but it’s either she’s at home or with someone in the park so he didn’t have that much of a chance.

Then later he saw a child sleeping on the pavement in front of their house, he thought that it is dead since corpses are normally lying somewhere everyday so he just ignored it and continue walking. But when he heard that child snore, it made him jump in surprise thinking that the corpse came to life. When he checked that it is just a sleeping child, in his irritation, Satan immediately hit his head hard that made the child woke up crying, this sleeping child is Belfe who lives just next door. There is a lot of twists and turn before their friendship even began, but in the end, they became close and treats each other as brothers from a different family. Satan uses Belfe to get close to Levia, going to her house, inviting her to his ‘friend’ birthday party, even though there is no party in Belfe’s house and he’s the one who prepared everything. He just did it so he will have a reason to get close to her and he succeeds, the three of them then became friends.

Satan always invites Levia to play in his friend’s house, since Belfe’s parent’s didn’t care at all, and Belfe is always sleeping somewhere which is why it gives him the illusion of having her all for himself, playing with her all alone, which greatly satisfy him.

She is the only person who can extinguish the rage in his soul, his living tranquilizer.

But when the walls are created and barriers were made, the utopia that he created vanished. Levia was brought somewhere far from him that almost made him crazy. She changed since then, she never comes close to him, never talks to him, and not even looking at him, as if he was a disgusting creature.

It took him great efforts to get close to her and this will be the result? he will never accept it.
