Adelaide went inside the apartment and was greeted with a hug by her daughter. Adelaide hugged her back as she cried in her embrace.
"Mom…I thought you were going to leave us," Kristelle said.
"Of course not!" she said and wiped her daughter's tears off her face. "You and your brother were my everything," she said. Kristelle sniffled. She straightened her back and held her mother's hand.
"Let's go, Mom. I have something to show you," she said and pulled her towards the bedroom. Adelaide gasped when she saw Keith already awake.
"Mom…"
"Oh my gods!" she yelled and rushed to him and hugged him tightly. "Thank the Goddess, you finally woke up!" she added happily while shedding tears.
"Mom…where did you go?" Keith asked. Adelaide looked at him and sat.
"I went to the pack," she confes
