I didn't really take Rhian's opinions to bones 'cause I believe that everytime I see Zack and Anya together I can see it that the two sincerely care for each other, especially Zack to Anya. It even seems that he, actually, treats her like his princess.
"You're not feeling well?" One afternoon, I was walking in the wide campus and it was already too late for me to walk away to another direction 'cause I knew they already saw me coming. And then, I don't wanna give them conclusions too that I am avoiding them.
Zack seems to worry a lot for Anya.
"Migraine, Zack. Whenever I have my period, if it's not dysmenorrhea, it's migraine that's attacking me so bad."
I could somehow relate to that thing. A woman's monthly struggle.
Zack gently guided her to lean to his broad chest as he softly massaged her shoulder.
Though, she's not feeling well, she was still able to notice me.
"Ryn! Hi!" she tried her very best to still greet me nicely though her head is not really on a good state right now.
I politely smiled at her too. "Hi."
I took a glance on Zack and immediately looked away 'cause he was staring at me the usual way.
"Monthly period struggle?" I asked Anya pertaining to her current condition.
She nodded. "Oo, Ryn. Hormonal Migraine."
I nodded at her too, I totally understand what she feels. "I recommend you immediately take biogesic so that the pain will go away after few minutes of taking it, then you have to avoid sour foods and softdrinks for the meantime."
She smiled and nodded. "Noted, Ryn. Thanks."
I nodded then smiled again before passing them by. They continued walking their way too.
When I turned back to look at them, I saw Zack's still looking at me and watching my way. We stared at each other's eyes for awhile. What seriously is wrong with him? Did I do something that displeased him again?
"Zack, let's go." Anya spoke to him.
Zack nodded and smiled at her with care before he even left me with her.
"Heard what Irryn said? Guess, I really need biogesic as of the moment, Zack."
"Okay. We'll buy biogesic to make you feel better."
"Your sister is such a kind girl, Zack. She knows I'm a nursing student, I know meds but still, she reminded me what to do. She's concerned and kind."
He smirked. "Tsk. She's not my sister."
Of all the words he said to her, his last sentence still cuts like a knife on my heart. Okay, I got it. I will never and can never be Rocio Zackarius's sister. He can never accept me to be his family and he can never see me to be his sister.
I should've been used to it, right? He keeps on reminding me about that cruel truth and keeps on making me feel how disgusting it is for him to think that I am his sister. I should've really been used to it, to his bad treatment towards me, but then over and over again, I still feel hurt and offended. He cares for other people but he never cares for me though I am now part of his family. He never treated me right!
Zack's pursuit on Anya's love took months and he was so patient in waiting for her, but he didn't seem to get tired at all. Never. Seems like he never plans to give up on her too. And just like the usual, Zack still invites her home every Saturday and Sunday for them to bond and have more time for each other.
"Hi, Ryn."
I looked at the person who greeted me when I was at the dining area one afternoon and I was taking a snack alone. It was her; Anya.
I smiled a little. "Hello."
"Excuse me for asking for a glass of water."
I nodded at her. "Sure. Just get the cold one from the pitcher inside the refrigerator."
She smiled. "Thanks."
"Want some, Anya?" I offered her my snacks, these are just corn chips.
"Thanks, Ryn," she said though she did not get one.
Guessed what she wanted was just water and nothing more.
"By the way, where's Zack?" I asked her just to have something to talk to her.
"He's in his room. We're making his project for one of his subjects that's why he's very busy and I help him."
I just nodded and didn't speak again. Okay.
She returned the pitcher inside the refrigerator then she excused herself again 'cause she had to go back to Zack's room but she hadn't yet taken steps when she suddenly got out of balance that made her fall on the floor.
"Anya!" I immediately attented to help her. "What happened? Are you okay?"
I guided her to sit on the table.
"Damn, it hurts, Irryn!" she was complaining while massaging her feet.
"What happened, Anya? Why did you fall suddenly?"
"My clumsiness, I guess? Plus, my:high heels!" though hurting, she still managed to grin and throw humor about what happened to her.
I just laughed a bit and shook my head. I was about to cheek her feet until the rude worried Zack came in.
"What happened to you? Anya!" Zack immediately cut spaces between them to check her on.
I gave him all the way to attend his soon-to-be girlfriend.
"What did you do?!" he looked at me with hatred and anger.
