26- "Live-in partner."

I was blown when I realized Zack was, actually, bringing me to the building of College of Engineering! To the cafeteria where I first saw him on the first day of school.

Even his classmates and friends couldn't believe seeing him bringing me here. Vandyke and Dencel and their other classmates stopped for a while when they saw me with my stepbrother then waved hello to me. I responded and waved back to them too. I suddenly felt Zack's arm benevolently wrapping my waist.

"Whoa, Zack! You're hitting another girl, huh!" said playfully by one of his classmates.

"You're now over Anya, aren't you? I thought you were serious with the girl?" asked the other while grinning.

I looked at Zack. His classmates and friends seem to know how determined he pursued Anya back then. I knew it. He was really serious about her. I suddenly felt guilty remembering how I became the biggest part of his heartache as she slapped and dumped him.

Zack just chuckled a bit on their questions. I couldn't help but smile at his chuckle. I just found out that everything really about him is just so adorable.

"Now, you're hitting a minor, huh! You're really the man, dude!"

"You thought the two of us, wrong," Zack said smilingly to his classmates then drew me even closer to him. She's a girl from my home."

I couldn't help but smile secretly because of what he just said. I am a girl from his home... such a music in my ear!

"A girl from your home? You mean she's your wife?" one of them exclaimed out of intrigue.

"Or maybe a live-in partner?"

"You're now living-in with a minor partner, dude? You must not be afraid of being filed a child abuse case!" one joked around then most of them laughed so hard at it.

"Damn you all! You're wrong!" Zack laughed with them too.

"Stepsibling. We're stepsiblings," I awkwardly revealed so that they wouldn't think otherwise anymore.

"What?! No way!" they all exclaimed in shock and disbelief.

"Dude, was that right? That beautiful little girl is your stepsister?"

Zack just shrugged his shoulders off and didn't even mind to answer.

"For real?"

"Woah!"

"We couldn't believe it!"

"Stop your moves on her, brothers!" Vandyke spoke then he smiled at her. "What she said was true. She and Zack are stepsiblings. Zack's dad married her mother."

"Oh!" they're totally speechless but also starting to believe.

"Yes, that's true. We had been with them at their resort last summer so we knew about it." Dencel also supported Zack.

"You never mentioned that you, actually, have a very beautiful stepsister, Zack!"

"So, Irryn's her name? Hi, Irryn!" they started to wave hello to me as greeting.

I smiled a bit to them then out of politeness, I waved back. After all, they're Zack's friends and classmates so that I couldn't be unkind, right?

But suddenly I felt Zack tightened his grip on me, on my waist.

"Introduce us to her, dude!"

"Let me court her, Zack!"

"Tss! You stop, assholes! She's not available and she's already reserved for someone so back off!" Zack ruthlessly told them.
