HE stepped inside the room with his hands locked up inside his pockets. Today is the birthday if his son but, Vin didn’t want to celebrate. Unang beses na tumanggi ang anak niya sa isang birthday celebration, samantalang iyon ang hilig nito palagi noon. And he almost clenched his jaws when Vin told him that he would only have a birthday party once Hillary came home with Pretty. At first, he was wondering who’s Pretty. He thought it was just Yon-Yon but he was frozen when Vin Rixor told him that it’s his son’s baby sister.
He smiled at the thought, somehow. But still it faded like it only touched the corners of his lips like a wind that passed him by. He realized he hadn’t been smiling for such quite a long time.
They celebrated Vin’s birthday with just a simple family dinner
