THE PLACE still looked the same since the last time I came to visit. The tree was as big as it’s been, healthy and strong with its blooming flowers, and the grass was kept short and green. Parang wala pa ring ipinagbago sa nagdaang buwan. The only difference I guess was today’s a brighter day. Hindi katulad noon, palaging makulimlim ang langit sa tuwing pumupunta ako rito. I don’t know why is that.
A cold wind greeted me as I approached Dallie’s tree, a giant Crape-Myrtle tree, where her ash was scattered, at sa tabi nito’y nakalapag ang isang bungkos ng preskong bulaklak.
