The wedding took place at a private beach resort. Only a few people were invited, who were intimately related to the new couple, minus Dallie’s mother and brother, who were not in their best condition or situation to attend it. Nonetheless, Dallie had to go through the wedding as part of Loïc’s plan.
Loïc, on the other hand, was disappointed to not see his grandson come to the wedding. It would have been interesting to see him. Nevertheless, he knew there would still be other occasions to see Grégoire and his reaction when the younger man would realize what the old man had done.
Dallie was grateful that Loïc had already asked and paid some lawyers to take care of her brother’s case. Also, her mother was transferred to a better hospital, where she would be attended well. At the same time,
