THE fluorescent lights of the hospital flickered overhead as Ciara and Nathaniel sat together in the waiting room, a world of tension and uncertainty surrounding them. It had been a long few days since Rebecca was admitted, and the emotional toll weighed heavily on Nathaniel. Ciara could feel the anxiety radiating from him, and she wished there was more she could do to alleviate his burden.
