I let my children's feet touch the ground and walked towards the office. My friend's face had dark circles under her eyes and she didn't look like her usual self.
I opened the door, and she was looking around the office. She turned her face when she saw me enter and smiled.
"Nick," she said and hugged me. I received her with affection; she was a great friend to me.
"How are you?" I led her to the couch. I looked at her more closely and became concerned, especially since she didn't have her usual spoiled girl attitude.
"I'm fine," she sighed and made a face, which made me tilt my head.
"Well, no, I don't know," she looked at her hands. "Finally, you're with your butterfly," she changed the subject and gave me a slight smile.
