On her way to the library, she accidentally bumps someone.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to.”
“It’s okay. Just be careful next time.”
“I will. Thanks.” She smiles at him and the guy stands frozen. He is having difficulty in breathing the longer he stays in front of her.
“Have we met before by any chance?” He asks. He’s scared, but he doesn’t show it to her.
“No. I don’t think so.” She says while putting back her hood on.“
"I see. I’m sorry I might be mistaken you to someone I know.”
“You’re fine. Anyway, I gotta go.”
As soon as Kira is no longer in sight. The guy has finally released a heavy sigh. The powerful force coming from her has his knees weakened.
He dashes to his office. The guy is none other than the professor of history. He quickly locks his office door and reads the book of ancient times.
Kira is now in the library choosing the book to read. When she finally finds it, she looks for an available space in the corner. She makes sure it’s not visible enough. Then she reads and her mind is wandering to the story of the book. The book she reads is about human and werewolves’ love story.
But she is wondering why the school has this kind of book.
“Skye!!!” A stern whisper from Kira’s left ear makes her to scream, which also disturbs the students in the library .
“I’m sorry.” She apologizes to them when they glare at her. While Blake is just grinning at her.
“Your not funny!” She smacks his head with the book she’s reading.
“Ouch!”
“That serves you right after what you did.” Kira says in a low voice.
“I was just trying to get your attention.”
“That is not the right way to get someone’s attention, Blake.” Kira rolls her eyes.
“Exactly!” Blake agrees and still he is teasing her.
“Will you--!” Kira stops right away when she hears hushes from the students near them.
Kira leaves Blake and walks to the other book aisle, but he follows her.
“Wait, How did you know I am here??!” They are away from the students already.
“Just a wild guess.”
“I don’t believe you.”
“Yeah, don’t.” He winks while grinning at her again.
“Weirdo!” Kira sits on the floor and leans on the shelf, then she continues reading. She is ignoring him because she knows she can’t get a valid answer from him without making her annoyed.
“Are you not going to ask me again on how did I know you are here?”
Kira looks at him. “Nope!” then she goes back to reading the next chapter.
“Okay... but I’m ready to tell you if you’d ask me again..” He smirks at her.
“Blake, if you’re here just to constantly pestering me.. then you are free to leave.”
“Alright! I’ll stop. But wait, what are you reading right now?”
“Novel.”
“A werewolf and human novel?”
“Isn’t it obvious on the cover page?!”
“Why are you reading that? I don’t think werewolves exist.”
“But they do.” Kira nonchalantly told him while her eyes set on the book she’s reading.
“Do you see one?” Blake is asking. Kira doesn’t notice how Blake looks at her because her eyes are still fixated at the book.
“No.”
Blake breathes a sigh of relief. “Then they are not true and they never exist. It’s just based on humans imagination.”
“I don’t know. But I saw this in my dream.” Kira pointed at the picture of werewolf on the page she’s reading.
“It’s just a dream, Skye. It’s not true.”
“But what if it’s true, Blake?” Kira has finally looked at him directly through his eyes.
Blake is getting intimidated by the way she looks at him.
“Ahem, well.. If that’s true, then that’s true.” Blake is trying to lighten the mood between them.
However, Kira is still seriously looking directly into his eyes.“You’re eyes are telling me you’re also different, Blake.”
“What do you mean? Are you a psychic? You’re scaring me, Skye.” Blake is trying to humor the situation, but deep in him he is sweating coldly.
Kira is oblivious of what she’s doing, but she makes Blake weakened. She looks at his eyes, trying to see something deep in him.
Blake is slowly losing his energy. “Skye.. stop. Skye! Do you hear me?”
He’s trying to get Kira’s attention. It seems she’s also in a daze on her own while still looking through his eyes. He can’t even stop himself from looking at her as well. An unknown energy is forcing him to look at her.
Blake knows it won’t do good for him and to her. He has no other choice but to let Madic, his wolf, to control the situation. Madic eyes are Amber color, but Blake is Brown and Green combination.
‘She’s falling into an abyss!’ Madic told Blake.
‘What shall we do?’ Blake asks.
‘Let’s bring her to the guardian!’
‘No, she doesn’t know about us!'
'Kira is not a full human, Blake and you know that. It’s time for her to know the truth about us and her.’
Kira is slowly drifting from her own world. Her eyes still open and are changing as well into grey, which means her soul is in a different dimension.
“Skye!” He shouts, even the other students nearby get startled.
He carries her as he walks to the door while the students in the library are wondering of what happened.
“What’s wrong with her?” The librarian approaches them. He immediately puts Kira’s hood on her head to cover her face.
“Nothing. Can you open the door for me?” he answers. The librarian immediately opens it. “Thanks.”
While Blake is running carrying her to his car. Kira’s mind is wandering in the forest. Then she sees different animals and werewolves aligning against each side of her. They are welcoming her. Kira is so confused. She’s asking herself how she gets here and what place is this.
“You’re home now,” One wolf answers her.
“We’ve been waiting for you.” A wolf in a beautiful silver-gold color tells her. She can hear them and she’s amazed.
“How did I get here?” She asks.
“You live here, Skye.” another voice in front of her responds.
Skye?? The name is familiar to her. Then she remembers Blake.
“I don’t live here. How do you know me? Are you all for real?”
Kira’s mind is now drifting back to the present.
“Skye!”
“Skye, wake up!”
“Do you hear me?”
Her eyes are now back to normal and soon they see her gasps for air.
“What happened? Where are we?” she asks Blake after her breathing recuperates.
Blake sees the bewildered look on her face.
“Something happened to you in the library and I brought you here.”
“What do you mean something happened and where is this place?”
“Oh, she’s awake now.” A woman in her 50s speaks as she enters while holding a book.
“You are in the Guardian’s house, Skye. I brought you here.”
“Hi darling.. how are you feeling?” The old woman asks her.
“I’m good. Thanks. But why am I here? I don’t remember what happened and who are you?”
