Her eerie feeling towards that guy from the hallway had gotten a toll on her. She knew something was not right. She couldn’t pinpoint what it really was, but she had to be cautious around him.
“Hi Kira. Mind if I sit beside you?” Her classmate, Lira, approached her. They still have five remaining minutes of their break.
Kira wondered, but she still nodded.
Lira excitedly sat next to her. “Thanks, Kira.”
“You’re welcome.” Kira adjusted her seat and put her hood on and soon back to reading her notes.
“Would you mind if I ask you something, Kira?”
Kira halted. She looked at Lira with a puzzled look. Lira had never talked to her, not even once, yet now she acted as if they’re friends.
“Is it okay if I ask you about something?” Lira was hesitant, weighing Kira’s reaction.
“Go ahead.”
