Standing on the side of the driveway was Tamara….and my fvcking father!
Halos hindi na ako makapag-isip ng maayos at tuluyan ng kinain ng galit. With gritting teeth, I turned off the engine, snapped the seatbelt off, stepped out of the car, and slammed the door angrily behind me.
“What the fvck are you doing here?!” galit kong tanong sa taong kinamumuhian ko ng makalapit ako sa kanila.
Napatingin silang lahat sa akin. But my entire focus was only dedicated to my father. At kitang-kita ko ang gulat sa mga mata niya nang makita ako.
“Geoff, s-son.” He tried to reach out. Pero ba’t ko naman siya pagbibigyan diba?
“Please, I’m just here to pay a visit—”
“Nandito ka para sa ano, ha? Oh please, don’t give me another damn excuse!” nanggagalaiti kong sabi.
