EMILY’S POV "Are you not ready yet?" I asked as I opened the door to find Ethan gazing mournfully out the window, as though waiting for someone to appear. Our grandmother took us in after the funeral of our mother. It had been a week since we moved into her house. Seeing Ethan so deeply affected by what had happened tore at my heart.
