EMILY’S POV
"Let me go, Mom! Dad!" I screamed, struggling to break free as they forced me into the car. They had kept me locked in my room for two days, confiscating my phone so that Larkin couldn't reach me. He came without either of my parent's knowledge, and he tried to climb through my window again, but it was locked with a padlock. I knew he could break it, but I stopped him as I didn't want to make things worse with my parents.
My heart was heavy with regret for stopping Larkin. I thought I had more time before my parents took me to Singapore, but they had made all the arrangements in just two days.
