EMILY'S POV
Claire called to inform me that she had seen Larkin and Zander at the police station. She had gone there to file a complaint against the man who had harassed her and was surprised to find them there. According to the officer she spoke with, they were somehow involved in a fight.
Great! The police station was the finish line of their car race! I didn't want Larkin to get involved in any trouble, though, because there was a tendency for him to lose control and reveal his inner wolf when things got heated. When I called him, he assured me that everything was settled and he was already on his way home, so I didn't need to go there anymore.
Hannah and Lucas had already gone home. It was my children's habit to go to their room after dinner, and the twins were already fast asleep.
