LAVENDER’S POV
I’ve been nervous for the past seven hours. Daisy’s already home but from what I heard, she immediately took herself in her room to rest. That’s why I also stayed in my room. I have nothing left to do and aside from that, I also don’t want to cross paths with Damon. He gave me a reason to totally avoid him but I’m his date tonight so avoiding him will start after being his date.
After accepting the dress, all I can think about is the reaction of the people who will see me with Damon. I’m getting cold feet and what I’m feeling is valid since this is the first time I’m going to let myself roam free with many people around me. But accepting to be Damon’s date doesn’t change the fact that I’m completely against this. I still don’t like the idea of it. But I can’t also let go
