LAVENDER’S POV
I admit I am flustered because of what he said. I can feel the heat in my cheeks as Miss Michelle immediately removes her pissed-off expression when Damon turns his head at her. It’s like she doesn’t want him to see how she hates Damon’s date.
“Uh, h-hi. I did not notice you there. I thought Damon was not with you,” she said before plastering a fake smile on her face.
“She’s with me the whole time, Miss Michelle. So if you may excuse us, I want to have a moment with her,” Damon said, which made my eyes widen.
Damn. How can he say those words as if it will not break Miss Michelle’s heart? I know that she’s here because she wants to steal Damon away from me but Damon being stubborn, I know that many women tonight will have a broken heart.
