It all happened too fast for Theo to even realize exactly what happened before he heard his girl screaming. Theo looked over and watched as a wolf turned slowly into a naked man. The man was lying flat on Adira and he could tell the man was dead.
Theo ran towards the screaming, he had to get to Adira. He had to make sure she was okay. The screaming grew louder and the growling harsher the closer he got to where his girlfriend was laying on the ground.
Luca was the man on top of her. Luca had given his life to protect Adira, and for that Theo would be forever grateful, but in that moment he had to pull his body off hers. He needed to make sure Adira was alright, was she screaming because Luca was dead or because she was hurt. Theo didn’t know.
“Go, I’ve got her, you get him.” Theo nod
