The trip back to Silverport was numb. Well, the drive wasn’t numb, more like Adira was numb. She couldn’t stop replaying everything that had happened. Theo’s father tried to kill her but Luca saved her. Luca, the man whom she had borderline hated for months now gave his life for hers.
She always thought he had stayed for the position, but his actions painted a different picture. Did Luca really love her? Or had he just been a good male Beta and risked his life for his female?
