“Theo’s a wolf.”
Ivy had said the words but they weren’t resonating with Theo. A part of him just knew his father had made the entire thing up. Just saying words to hurt him, but now Ivy was telling him that it was true. Theo was a wolf. His mother had cheated on Richard and conceived him with a wolf.
“Is his wolf still alive?” Theo heard Adira ask. He couldn’t help but hear the excitement in her voice. He gave her a little squeeze and she leaned into him. He knew she was just happy that he wouldn’t go through with the original plan of someone biting him. A bite wouldn’t work if he already had the wolf gene.
Ivy shrugged, “The blood can only tell us so much. The wolf gene is there, how strong his wolf is, well that’s still to be determined.”
