Sage POV The next morning dawns bright and fair. I get up, shower, and change into business-type attire, heading downstairs in search of my husband who is missing, finding him downstairs at the dining table. He immediately looks up with a warm smile on his face, standing and walking over to kiss me lovingly on the cheek as I blush. "Good morning" he greets me, "I didn't want to wake you as you were sleeping so soundly", he admits as I give a wan smile and sit down. Immediately, the maid puts a plate of food in front of me and I begin to eat without tasting the food, my stomach a ball of nerves. Chase sits back down and eyes me carefully, but says nothing.
