Ana had her head tucked into Raine’s shoulder, as she peeked out at the passing countryside. Her arms were wrapped around his arm that still held her securely around her waist keeping her pressed into him as the horse moved underneath them. Ana realised she had to keep relaxed and meld into Raine and let his movements take control to keep them from falling off. She heard him hum in approval and chuckle at her. After a few minutes Raine eased the horse back to a walk and he relaxed his grip. “Look up, Ana…we’re here.” He murmured in her ear. He once again rested his chin on her shoulder and Ana was more than aware of the heat of his chest against her back. Ana sat up looking forward again finally.
