The following day King Fayner once again came to fetch her. She had been surprised when she had been left alone the night before and not forced to have dinner with them again. Even today it was past midday before Fayner even turned up. She wondered why the change in routine. As Fayner walked slowly down the hall, his hands clasped behind his back, Ana again pressed him. “So is it Taylor’s turn today then?” She said it facetiously but she was hoping it was, she wanted the chance to talk to him. “No.” Fayner said with no emotion. “Why not?” Ana asked confused. “Because you already know Taylor, and spent two days with him in his human apartment.” Fayner said coolly. “I don’t believe you need to spend any time getting to know him, since you kissed him, did you not?” Fayner glanced sideway
