The following day I was released from the hospital. Maya and Arkyn came to pick me up and I smiled at how genuinely happy she was. We headed back to the pack house and she dragged me to the kitchen were the counter was filled with different pastries and desserts.
“What happened here?” I questioned surprised. “Cravings…” muttered Colton as he entered the kitchen, looking visibly exhausted. I chuckled, eyeing him intently. “What the hell happened to you?” I teased. He pointed to Maya before yawning. “She did…she won’t stop Raj…tell her me and my soldier need a break…” he whined and my face turned a crimson red, averting my gaze away from them. I heard Arkyn snickering behind me at my expression before he wrapped his arounds around my waist, my back resting against his chest.
