I held Raj in my arms until her sobbing subsided. I gently pulled her face to look at me, wiping the tears from her face. “We have to check on Maya” She said with a hiccup and I nodded, standing up. I pulled her up gently and she swayed. “Raj are you okay?” I asked in a panic.
“Yeah.. I feel strange” she slurred before her gaze met mines. I felt panic rise in my chest as her gaze look far out. “Raj” I called out in a panic before her eyes rolled to the back of her head, going limp in my arms. “s**t, s**t, s**t!” I cradled her in my arms, checking her pulse and her breathing. I sighed, noticing she was breathing fine but worried she had passed out. The shock must’ve been too much for her. I shifted her in my arms, carrying her bridal style towards the pack clinic.
