Chapter 31

2478 Words

*Raj’s POV*  It’s been three weeks since our little getaway at the lake house. We’ve settled comfortably into a routine where Arkyn would work for most of the day and I would spend it between the library reading my mother’s journal or at the pack clinic, learning more about the wolf anatomy. I hadn’t heard from my uncle since we last spoke before the trip, and I’m worried he might be feeling bad for what happened. I couldn’t bring myself to call him again afterwards. Something just felt off from the whole situation.  I sighed to myself, laying on the soft velvet chaise lounge in the library, trying to pay attention to the journal. So far I’ve learned that my parents were constantly fighting together, which contributes to my uncle’s allegations that my father is a potential pack warrior.
