Samantha was more than horrified by Lucinda’s appearance, stood and stared at her, then tears welled up in her eyes, and she stood shaking her head as though she couldn’t believe what she was seeing before her. Then, after a minute, she had pulled herself together and ran about the suite, like a mother tending to her own child.
Ordering Nick to go and get medical supplies from the pack hospital, wound dressings and normal saline to keep the wounds clean, things that she thought were necessary to be here in the suite, for Lucinda’s injuries.
