He knocked on the door and it did not surprise him, that Lindy would make him wait for however long she wanted, before answering the door. She had enjoyed making him wait the last time he’d been in her company. And though this was his pack, she was considered his mother, which meant, unfortunately, he had to show respect. Irked him to no end.
The door finally opened after what felt like forever to Nick, and Samantha stood before him. He blinked in surprise and his eyes widened in complete shock, at seeing her standing before him in a suite on the Alpha floor.
He and Mary had tried many times over the years to get her and Frank to move up here. She had raised him and Mary. It was something the two of them wanted to do for them, to say thank you for everything they had done. Sama
