Jeremy and Braidy left his office to go and find anything they could on that destroyed and abandoned pack. Nick's gut was twisting in knots, he’d seen the way she’d looked at the whiteboard, touched the pack on the map, gotten distressed. But it was the way she felt a desperate need to have an emergency exit that bothered him.
He’d asked her if she actually knew what happened to that pack and she’d said ‘yes’ and didn’t want to talk about it. Nobody knew the details, just the story. All were killed and everything burned. Those women and children burned alive inside their own packhouse.
Lucinda didn’t have any photos of her family. All burned in a house fire...
