Lucinda POV
Lucinda’s eyes opened slowly, and she didn’t know where she was at first. The room was white and green, and there was an annoying beeping sound, that was irritating her ears. Sounded way too loud for her liking. Her body ached everywhere, her eyes closed.
Her eyes opened again, to the same room. She blinked trying to bring it into focus, there was a smell, disinfectant, it was very strong. She was in the pack hospital, she realized. On a hospital bed.
She blinked slowly, trying to wake up, still felt drowsy, tried to move but couldn’t, something heavy was weighing her down. She felt Ky’ra move inside her mind, coming back to her and recalled what had happened. She could smell him; so strongly.
