His heart was cold, as he watched her scream in agony, as pain coursed through her beautiful body. Watched as his own pack member, kicked her to the ground and laughed at her pain. Seemed to really enjoy it. He watched as Ky’ra ripped out of her in a blur and killed that she-wolf, who got a quicker death than she deserved, he thought absently. As he watched her tear into that lifeless body, destroying it completely and then run from his pack.
Rip was standing inside his mind, still as can be. As they watched their Mate run. Flee from their pack, believing he had betrayed her, how could she not? After what she had felt, what Valerie had done to her. Done to him. Done to them.
