“What the heck! You won’t really listen to me? I’m older than you, dammit!” Logan roared to my face as I insisted on looking for Klaud, despite the lateness of the hour without regard to the danger that we could encounter along the way.
The only way I could tone down his anger was to pull a joke on him.
I sniggered, “You accepted it finally!” He was five years my senior.
I understood his apprehension very well, but time is of the essence. We wouldn't know what could happen between now and tomorrow morning. My mind wouldn’t settle unless I move now and find Klaudria.
“Damn! You have a turnover tomorrow—you’ll be the king! Oh—you are exercising that right, right now don’t you? That noble sternness—huh!” Logan spat out.
