It didn’t take us long to get to the large house where Dawn was being held. Alpha Ash held his hand up to stop our movements next to the wall that we had been following. “We need to have a better idea of what is going on on the other side of the wall.” He linked everyone through the pack link, making some hand signals to Nick and alpha Drake to let them know the plan. We had not been able to make anything out from our position, and given that it was broad daylight, we needed to be sure that we were not walking into another trap like we had in the past.
