Daniel’s POV
I dash towards Austin’s office. God knows what’s wrong with this girl. She looks devastated. Austin and I share the same floor. I take a right turn from the corridor only to find out the open door. Austin never keeps his door open. As I walk in, my eyes fall on that secretary first, waiting for Austin to sign some documents and then at Linda. What the hell is she doing here? Now everything is as clear as daylight.
“What the…” I stop my urges to curse that homewrecker as Austin’s cold gaze lands on me. He signs the documents as quickly as he can and asks the secretary to leave.
Then he faces Linda glaring at her, “leave and learn to behave.”
Linda rushes to the door and disappears. She looks scared and exhausted.
