As the boat raised up into the air and started their journey Daniel was aware that it meant a good opportunity to see the view of the city below. He gawked over the side looking down at the expanse of the twinkling lights as they lifted higher and higher above them.
“Daniel…look ahead.” Kysenia softly called to him.
He looked up and forward. Before them was the dark outline of a mountain that appeared to have had its top cut off, as the top quarter where normally there would be a peak was gone, leaving a vast flat landscape upon which was a blaze of light from several buildings and Daniel was caught once again speechless by the wondrous sight.
