Terri’s POV
“I need to take a good look around and speak to someone on your security team…” I start to say when there’s a quick bang on the door that screams ‘urgent’.
The hallway goon stumbles into the office, he’s slapping the side of his head either to wake himself up fully or to set his crossed eyeballs straight. “Boss! We got an intruder!”
“I am aware, how did she sneak up on you Gio?” I turn and wave at the i***t and he goes pale.
“Um…Uh…” Tsk, tsk. His stumbling over his words isn’t going to help him. If you make a colossal f*ck-up just immediately own up to it, most bosses are so shocked you didn’t waste time on excuses they might just let you keep your job, not that this guy deserves it.
