Lily slept the entire day and night away, only waking up the next morning, her body stiff and still a bit sore. The strange thing was that she was in her bed and not on the sofa where her father had left her. She knew the Alpha would never have taken the effort to move her to a more comfortable place—especially after what she’d said to him.
It must have been her brother. Lily didn’t know how to feel about that, but it wasn’t like Sam had tucked her in under the covers, so she wasn’t going to pretend it meant anything. Her brother had probably just wanted her out of the way so he could watch a movie or something in the living room.
