“Why did you leave me, Mom?” Lily asked the ethereal-looking woman standing before her.
Everything had gone wrong after she’d died, and Lily knew that things would have been so different if she was still there. Her father and brother would still love her, and Kyle would have accepted and adored her as his mate. Instead, her mom was gone, and the people who should have loved her had rejected her.
“I didn’t want to leave you, honey. I wish I could have stayed,” her mom replied sadly. Her body was giving off a ghostly glow, and she looked angelically beautiful in her white dress.
