Island occult

Chapter 2- off to the island.

The next day, 10 chosen children from the Juvenile Prison were standing outside waiting, Jim arrives in his 2 door Audi, with a bus not following him far behind, he parks and puts on his shades before coming out. He wore a black suit, black shirt, black shiny shoes, and black shades with red lines. He made his way to the 10 code reds and put his hands together,

“ alright, I think one bus is more than enough for the 10 of you. If it isn’t, you have my permission to sit on each others laps. We will talk further when we get to where we’re going, the bus will take you there. I still need to make a quick stop before coming to where you all will be, we will talk in a few hours, right now I need your flat asses into that bus.”

The 10 code reds start walking towards the bus, “ Sindi, you should sit next to me.  I wanna talk to you about something.” Timmy says 

“‘Okay...” she agrees while they all make their way inside. They sit a two seater right in the middle while the other 3 go all the way back so their not split up.

Rue leans over and whispers, “ he probably wants to threaten her, without us knowing...”

“ I don’t think we should assume.” Blessing replies back.

“ I honestly always ask myself how you became our friend bless boy, you’re so gullible.” Eva teases him.

“ says a girl who is in a bus arranged by a man she just met yesterday.”

“ Gosh that sounds wrong, but he has a point. We’re all a little gullible sometimes.” 

“ I never said I trust or like the man, but he gave a pretty good offer.” Eva argues

“ Good food and a party...” Rue adds on.

“ yes, and he looked like money.”

“ the ones who look like money are the most corrupt.”

“ Arg blessing, stop being such a bore. I just came for the food and the party, spare me the details you don’t even have. He’ll tell us what this is about when he does, till then, calm your tities detective.”

“ you calm your tities.” Blessing replies.

“ I don’t have tities, I have boobs...” Eva says, while rolling her eyes.

“ well I figured If you call mine tities, and you’re are just as small, it made sense for me to call them tities too.” Eva’s mouth falls wide open, looking offended. She shifts away from him, with no comeback. Rue laughs and sits back on the bus seat as the busses engine starts and they move.

“ Man I hope this isn’t a long journey, I’m already tired of you two.”

“ freedom for only two seconds and you’ve already changed.”

“ shut up Blessing, you’re such a loud mouth.”

The children at the orphanage stand outside waiting for Jim aswell , the only difference is they hadn’t met Jim, they didn’t know what all this way really about. They really thought they were all going to a new home, to become brothers and sisters.

“ I will truly miss you all, and please always remember that if you are not happy in your new home, you can always return because this is also your home...”

Just then Jim arrives, with another bus following him, and he pulls up dramatically. He comes out with a huge smile on his face.

“ Daddy has come my sweet sweet innocent God fearing little souls, I am an angel sent to protect you all.”

He holds his chest, before laughing. The children looked confused while others seemed very pleased with the person In front of them.

“ I’m kidding, so nice to meet you all though, genuinely. I just can’t wait to get to know you all, as individuals...” he says, while scanning the whole group. He makes eye contact with Sedia, before nodding to thank her, she nods back in approval. She gives them all hugs before they enter the bus.

Jim gets a call from Lina, “ uh the kids are here... I just don’t understand why you couldn’t pick another meet up spot.”

“ just get them food and alcohol like we had planned, I’ll be there soon...

Jim arrives with 10 more kids and he makes eye contact with the man delivery man who was looking at all the children. He enters the boardroom 

“ pizza ?”

“ I know right...” Lina replies rolling her eyes, putting her curls behind her ear. She looks at the other kids who had just showed up, looking afraid and confused.

“ Please do enjoy your pizza and alcohol, remember to eat a lot of the pizza but not too much alcohol, we have a bit of road trip tonight, and be nice to each other.” She says, goes over to pull Jim outside.

“ this is crazy.”

“ I know, let’s get them a little tipsy before spilling some of the details.” He says, looking at them with his arms folded. They watch the kids eat their pizza, drink their alcohol while having conversations amongst themselves, Lina folds her arms with a worried look. 

“ The ones you came in with looked like they were on the verge of tears...” she whispers, making a puppy dog look before they both burst out laughing. They walk back to the room, Jim steps forward before addressing them.

“ some of you have officially met me, however some of you haven’t. But all of you have no idea what this is about, so we will explain to you as much as we can. We are sending off on a little trip, we saw this as an opportunity to give all of you because you are more deserving than anyone to go far away from your everyday, boring routine reality. It’ll magical and I assure you, it’ll be the exciting times of your life. You will feel and experience different emotions, but mostly you will experience freedom.”

“ Great speech, but you didn’t tell us what it is we’re doing...” Timmy adds.

“ I was getting to that, I needed to first fill your little peanut brains with excitement, you’re all going on an island.” excitement. Murmurs start amongst each other.

“ you’re all leaving tonight, we will give you all bags with everything you will need..” Lina continues.

Rue steps forward and asks, “ what’s in that island?”

“ we don’t-“  Jim quickly steps forward to shut Lina up, “ because it seems you are all very curious. Let’s just say, this is a business proposal.” Jim says, looking back at Lina.

“ we’re listening.” Rue replies.

“ You guys find us anything of value there, we make you young millionaires.”

“So you’re basically exploiting us for your own personal gain?” Rue adds on, the kids all look concerned...

“Look, we’re a team here.”

“Well, what makes you think you can trust us? How will you know we found anything if we hide it from you?” Sindi adds.

“Well, if you want to be a smart ass, I hope you have some form of transport that can get you outta there”

“ So, whats in this island exactly?” Rue asks

“You’ll tell us, it just could be the next bora bora that we own, as a TEAM.” 

“Well you have me sold, I've always had business man in my veins, I'm ready to leave.”

Just as Lina is about to say something, rue steps forward and cuts her off. 

“What about the other kids, they don’t say or do much, I don’t see their point.”

I think in due time you will all end up being comfortable around each other, for now we need to get busy with installing some..”

“Don’t even say trackers, if anything is going inside my body, count me out.” She says, while folding her arms. With a straight serious face

Jim blinks blankly, out of all the kids in the room, Rue was certainly the sharpest. “Okay, uh- what about devices, just uhm something you will carry around. Like a walkie talkie?”

“Pretty basic but it’ll do, I think we should leave right now. I don’t know about all of you but i’d rather land now than when its late and dark.” Timmy demands before leaning on the wall, releasing a loud burp. “ excuse me, I over did it on the eating.”

One child from the orphanage group steps forward, a girl and she says, “ hi, im Sue.”

“Hey look, shes Sue and you're Rue. Could’ve been twins.” Timmy mocks Rue

“ shut it big head.” 

Some of the kids giggle and Rue rolls her eyes, with annoyance.

“Timmy, can we listen to sue now?” With an annoyed tone, Jim says.

Sue carries on and says, “just don’t think any of us want to go, it could be incredibly dangerous for all we know. Since Sister Sedia is no longer here, it is my job to keep my brothers and sisters safe.”

“Okay mother Teresa, I wouldn’t send you off to anything that wasn’t safe. whenever you feel afraid you should pray and it'll all get better, that’s what you do right?” Jim says, he was getting irritated by the questions the children asked. He was hoping they would all just go with it, but he had to explain things that he didn’t want to explain, as well as make promises he never intended to make. He leaves the room, then he comes back with some men from his team, carrying bags and walkie talkies.

“Listen up, we got bags with some food and clothes inside, grab a bag according to your clothing size. We made it pretty basic, XXS XS for extra small or extra extra whatever, its written. Grab your things and Lina, escort them to the roof top, I'm getting the choppers ready. Jim says before leaving the room. 

A Man next to Jim who had worked with Jim for years was really concerned, he knew that every time Jim had these crazy discoveries, people lost their lives. “ Are you really doing this to these kids man?...”

He says, Jim gives him a nasty look, “ Ask me that again if you don’t want your next pay check.” The man nervously nods before looking forward.. AWKWARD. They get busy putting food stocks and water. With Ms Ross, helping the children sort out their sizes and grabbing their walkie talkies before they start heading the same direction as Jim, in a long straight line. No-one saying anything, complete silence. They get to the roof top, the choppers were getting ready to fly. The wind in their faces as they all stood there waiting to get the signal to get inside. Their hearts pounding, the nerves spiking. They all had one thing in-common and that was having no one but each-other.

“Alright, get in and strap up. Do not lose your walkie talkies and we will communicate with you every split second. If any of you want to come back, communicate and we WILL fetch you, that is a promise.” Jim adds before tapping their backs while they walked into the helicopters.They got in and put their seatbelts on, in different choppers. 20 children, scared to death. There is complete silence as the choppers start to take off. The whole way is quiet, no-one is says anything. Their throat dry from the fear, their hands shaking. The biggest thing that scared them all was because they hadn’t been out into the real world as long as they could all remember, and when they got the chance to, it wasn’t normal.
