Lyvia and Elliot

They reached Elliot’s village just before nightfall and Lyvia was tired from the carriage ride. Elliot’s village, Arkley, is far in the east and it was a nice peaceful village near a lake. Elliot’s modest cottage stood overlooking the lake and it has a tidy little vegetable garden and a small paddock with cows. It looks tranquil and a nice place to settle down.  “Will we be living here after our wedding? Won’t we be needed back in the palace?” she asked as she walked around the cottage with Elliot following behind.  The cottage was clean and neatly furnished with handmade wooden furniture. There were two bedrooms, one large one which she assumed is the master bedroom and a smaller one, probably for guests. There was one functional bathroom and a small kitchen. The living room is spacious
