I was taking Jessa out for dinner and to go dancing. I needed her to fall in love with me before the potion wore off and the alpha remembered that she was his mate and came looking for her. When she asked me about breaking the mate bond permanently my heart skipped a beat. I had been trying very hard since the first twenty-four hours to not compel Jessa into feeling any particular way.
