Chapter 39: Another

Winter finally dawned on me, after I realized I couldn't see very well when I fished. I took my focus on the fish surplus and began to create a grappling hook, using my knife to carve through the stone and creating a rope from cut up sheets. I was planning on coming back here every time, so I knew these were going to stay here. I then swam out of the area I had memorized, past the familiar rocks and edges and back to the main entrance.  Once I broke the surface and braced my feet on an edge, using as much strength to toss the grappling hook upwards and catching it on a rock after several tries. I tested it out by hanging off of it, then slowly climbed my way up, trying to avoid freezing my clothing in the wind. I managed to grab a hold of the rock and climb out of the slope and onto level
