Damien did not disclose to his mother and Samira’s grandfather what they talked about in the garden. He made it appear that postponing the arrangement for the wedding was their mutual decision. He emphasized that Samira's grandfather's treatment and recuperation were their priority.
Samira was thankful that Damien handled all the explanations before he left the mansion with his mother. On her own, she wasn't confident that she would be able to handle it with the same subtleness.
