CHAPTER 37
Samira was informed that she could go home that night. Her grandfather was due to be transferred to the private suite the next day; therefore, her presence there was unnecessary; however, she decided to stay nonetheless. She wanted to be there just in case her grandfather asked for her. The procedure went well, but the medical team decided to let her grandpa stay in the facility first for close monitoring.
Samira had not seen Damien since he left the room early that afternoon. Now, it was already past five, and he hadn’t returned yet.
After her friends left, Samira decided to get some fresh air. The intoxicating antiseptic scent in the room made her lungs so thick. There was a lovely garden in the hospital that she could visit, she was informed. She decided to go there first
