*Astrid’s Pov*
As I was calming the beast, I hear the arrow shot through the sky, and I watch as it hits Max. I turn and run towards him as he falls. Once I get there, I see his lifeless body on the ground. I run to him and see the arrow sticking out of his stomach and remove it. I then place my hands on the floor and ask the earth to heal my mate a bright light comes from my hands, and I place them on his stomach. The glow gets more colourful and bright. I watch as Max lifts his hands to mine, and then he sits up. I hear a group of people surround us and then cheers. They saw me heal Max, and what I can do, I stand up, and they all bow to me. There isn't a person left standing. I look at max, who seems as shocked as I am. A man speaks up and looks me in the eyes
