“Anyway, so… Tuka Beach. It’s something else altogether. In all the places we’ve been to so far, this one is one I’m really looking forward to. Pictures show that it has white sand and surfers say it gives a good edge while spotting marine life. While the fish are great to watch, the sharks and whales can’t hide. Not at all! Boy, that would be something. I can’t wait to confirm it.
Tuka’s contest is called ‘Chasing Giants’ which makes me wonder just how big their waves are. There’s a certain rush about not knowing that has only urged me to know more. I like going out now and getting a feel for things. Mom isn’t too keen on it. She’s trying to hang in there with me on this but I just have to wonder how far I can push her.
