Ivy and Coen had spent the week getting ready for Everleigh's birthday, while she and Lexie had been putting together a surprise birthday party for Coen at the same time. To say that Ivy was stretched thin would have been an understatement. Lucky for her, Coen hadn’t minded helping out with Everleigh's party, and Lexie had been a huge help with Coen's party. Lexie had offered to have someone get the bar set up for Coen's party during Everleigh's party so he wouldn’t suspect anything. Ivy knew she wouldn’t have been able to do it all on her own. It was a nice change to have people in her life that actually cared. It was really nice to have someone in her life who loved her and her daughter.
