“Happy Birthday, Evie!” The entire room said when they finished singing to the very excited three-year-old. She looked adorable in her unicorn party hat. Coen couldn’t help but be a little proud that she had chosen to wear the one he specifically made for her.
“Cake, CoCo” Everleigh clapped her hands happily looking over at Coen.
“Yes, ma’am.” Coen said without a moment’s hesitation. He handed Everleigh the first slice of cake which Ivy had been cutting and placing onto plates. The party had been a success, several of Everleigh's friends from her preschool had come as well as his brother and his sister, Adira. His mother had also shown up.
