The call from Jeremy Cole came in on my work phone a few weeks ago. As a previous client I hadn't questioned it when he requested a meeting away from the office. We arranged to meet at his office later that afternoon. When I arrived at the building shortly before three, I was met by Jeremy's Executive Assistant and escorted onto the private elevator and taken directly to the top floor.
The elevator door opened directly into the foyer of an expansive penthouse suite. Jeremy himself greeted me directing me into the expensively appointed living area. Floor to ceiling windows with one-way glass provided a panoramic view of downtown Toronto looking towards Lake Ontario. The CN Tower was off to the left, allowing a clear view of Toronto Island.
